Homeopathic Approach to Respiratory Allergies
Timothy D Francis is a diplomate in Applied Kinesiology, and has three doctorates including a doctor of chiropractic (magna cum laude). In 1993, Timothy D. Francis completed an internship in Bombay, India, with Dr. Mukesh Batra for his doctorate in homeopathy.
One of the areas Timothy D. Francis specializes in is homeopathy, a natural approach to health problems, including allergies. A naturopath views allergies as related to weak digestive, adrenal, and immune functions. The onion, or allium cepa, is a common homeopathic medicine used for patients suffering from allergic symptoms.
People with respiratory allergies benefit from homeopathic medicine. These individuals may experience sneezing, burning nasal discharge, teary and red eyes, and tingling sensation in the eyes. Allergies often lead to headaches, too. The onion causes teary eyes and a runny nose which, according to homeopathic practice, helps ease nasal congestion based on the law of similars.
Dr. Francis was the first in North America to correlate homeopathy and applied kinesiology and received the Alan Beardall Memorial Award for his contributions.
